Zerbib, CEO of TAG V.S. since 2013, has more than 30-years-experience operating and growing worldwide tech companies. He will join other industry leaders presenting sessions at the 2-day forum. Zerbib’s presentation, “Unlocking the Agility and Flexibility Promise of IP: Enabling SMPTE ST2110 IP Video in Software-Based Systems” will focus on IP-based software solutions and their ability to increase flexibility in television production and playout facilities. The session will also discuss the challenges of supporting the new SMPTE 2110 standard for uncompressed video over IP inside television facilities in software solutions, and talk about how TAG has cracked the code regarding SMPTE 2110 issues and is making it possible to implement 100% software solutions with high density (high input/output count) for uncompressed video.
“The infrastructures of television production and playout facilities are undergoing a shift to IP which can significantly increase the adoption of software-based solutions,” explained Zerbib. “But with this enormous potential there are also challenges along the way, especially regarding support of SMPTE ST 2110. I’m honored to have the opportunity to share my expertise and insight with VSF members and talk about real life solutions that overcome these difficult issues at the May meeting.”
Zerbib will deliver his presentation on May 15th at 10:15 am – 11:45 am.
